Great tech begins with great code. Over the past few months, we’ve put heavy emphasis on code sustainability, repeatability, and build-provenance. Our dev team has standardized deployment pipelines and adopted containerization strategies that make our updates consistent, traceable, and easy to scale. That means faster, safer improvements across our product line—and ultimately, better experiences for our users.
AI Inside (and Outside)
We're doubling down on AI at every level. Internally, we’ve adopted AI copilots to support our developers, speeding up bug fixes and helping us prototype new features faster. Externally, we’re embedding AI right at the edge—both metaphorically and literally.
Our edge-AI strategy delivers real-time intelligence directly from our floor sensors—without requiring cloud processing. And yes, there's a bit of a pun here: our readout electronics are physically located at the edges of our smart flooring. It’s AI at the edge, on the edge.
More Than Footsteps: Multi-Modal Sensor Fusion
Traditionally, our platform was known for pressure-sensing—tracking footfall and movement patterns. But human interaction with space is multi-dimensional, and now, so is our sensor technology.
We’ve added the ability to detect and analyze:
Moisture vibration – to alert facilities of potential leaks
Temperature changes – crucial for sensitive environments like data centers or hospitals
Noise vibration (in megahertz) – to help monitor ambient conditions in classrooms and healthcare facilities, improving both safety and comfort
This multi-modal sensor fusion allows our system to see and interpret the world in a much richer way.

Pathfinding, But Smarter
Our proprietary Pathfinder AI engine is evolving too. Now enhanced by the multi-modal inputs above, it not only tracks where people go—it understands how they move. We’re talking gait analysis, speed variability, and usage pattern forecasting. These insights help our clients—from retail to healthcare to enterprise facilities—optimize everything from space design to staff scheduling.
